...or I at least want the dress I'm modeling for NYE to look divine so someone wants to lick MINE.
NYE is always tricky business, you're never guaranteed to get the venue or the midnight kiss just right but the one thing you can get correct is the outfit - "The venue was shit, the midnight kiss didn't happen but at least I know I looked F.I.T. in my 3.1. Phillip Lim sequined silk chiffon jumpsuit, capiche?". NYE outfits are a personal fave of mine, it's one of the only opportunities within the year where you can go total overboard with the sequins and glitter and it isn't too much of a crime, sequins are a complete guilty pleasure of mine so any excuse to go over board I'm there. Despite the a/w trends leading up to the new year I've never seen the choice of your NYE outfit over powered by what's on trend, instead I've always believed it's more about the 'traditional' and 'classy' looks entwined with the 'wild' and the 'party'.
